I live in New Zealand and love this place. So much variation in scenery.
I've been interested in photography off and on for a long time, but only really been seriously getting into since the beginning of 2009. Finally got myself a reasonable digital camera, so it's all go from here.
Just finishing my first online correspondence course, was most informative. Have also been inspired by my brother who was doing it semi - professionally until just recently.
Update - when I first joined here it had been years since I had done any photography. The feedback I got from here inspired me to push on and even enroll in a diploma. Now one year on after finishing my diploma I am now shooting houses for a living as a real estate photographer. I am still constantly learning and developing, but it all has started from me joining this site and being inspired by it.
Also 4 friends and I are just about to published our first photography book.
