A picture is meant to say a thousand words and often we see photos of random people and can't help but wonder who they are and what their story is. The 100 strangers project, is a challenge to photograph 100 strangers and get to know a little bit about each of them before taking their photo.

It's a great way to improve street photography skills and although the idea of going up to strangers on the street may be a little daunting to begin with, I think it will soon get easier...especially if the excuse is "I am busy with a project to photograph 100 strangers and I wondered if I could learn a little bit about yourself and take your photograph."
